陶朗加毛奥历史保护区 Tauranga Mauao Historic Reserve

距离陶朗加不远你的芒格努伊山
是当地重要的旅游胜地
其中最著名的
就是毛奥这座古老的休眠火山

Not far away from Tauranga, Mount Maunganui is a well-known tourist spot.  Out of it, Mauao which is an extinct volcanic cone is the most visited venue around this area.


毛奥历史保护区共有几条步道
山脚下有全长3.4公里的步行道
全程都能近距离欣赏海景
而通往山顶的步道
更是风景宜人

There are several tracks in Mauao Historic Reserve.  The track at the base of the mountain is 3.4km long, offering magnificent views of the open ocean, and the track to the summit is even more impressive.


毛奥高达海拔232米
通往山顶共有几条步道
约40分钟即可抵达山顶
但这里日晒严重
沿途只有极少的大树遮顶
应携带足够的饮水和做好防晒

Mauao is 232 metres above sea level, there are several tracks to reach the summit and it took only 40 minutes.  But the sun is hot and the track is open, thus it is important to take plenty of water and apply sunscreen.

 
虽然山路险峻
但山顶上却可享受360度的无敌海景
山顶也有一片空地
和一张桌子供游客休息、野餐

Although the track is steep and hard, you will be rewarded with the 360 degree view.  There are plenty of room at the summit and a picnic table for visitor to rest and picnic.
