Gwang Jang Market is one of the largest traditional markets which is near to the subway station Jongno-gu, a popular tourist destination in Korea.

美食街里食物琳琅满目

数之不尽的档口
各式韩国传统美食、街边小食应有尽有
煎饼、年糕、鱼饼、饺子、拌饭、米肠

There are plenty of foods in the food street served in the stalls along the street. Countless of Korea traditional food and street food are sold in the market, such as bindaetteok, tteokbokki, fish cake, gyoza, bimbibap, blood sausage.

韩国绿豆饼是将泡软的绿豆磨好调味
加上蔬菜或肉类煎成圆形扁平状

The most popular dish in Gwang Jang market is the Korean pancake, bindaetteok.

Bindaetteok used soak mung bean, adding vegetables or meat, then pan-fry it round and flat. Lots of the local ordered some bindaetteok and rice wine, then spend the night with friends in the market.

Despite rice wine, there are also lots of drinks available in the market. Fruit juices are easily found here and mixed fruit juice is very common by mixing several kinds of fruit in a cup. Korea traditional sweet rice beverage, sikhye is also sold in the market.

Silk, curtain and linen bed-sheet store are located at the second floor of the market. Visitors can find hanbok and souvenir here.

The stores here are opened from Monday to Saturday but the restaurants and food stalls are opened all year round. You could find all kind of delicious food from 8.30am until 11pm.

韩国晨静树木园 Korea The Garden of Morning Calm

从南怡岛乘搭加平观光巴士除了可前往小法国

也可抵达晨静树木园
一个韩国最早的私人花园
这里有各式步道、美丽草坪、花圃的庭院
且较少游客
可以舒适安静的享受森林浴

Hop on to the Gapyeong shuttle bus from Nami Island not only bring you to Petite France, but also The Garden of Morning Calm, the oldest private garden in Korea. There are several walkways, beautifully manicured grass and flower beds. It is less crowded attraction where visitors are able to enjoy the “green shower” comfortably.

The adult entrance ticket cost KRW9,000 on weekends and public holiday, but discounted to KRW8,000 on weekdays. Children price is KRW5,500 on weekends and public holiday, and KRW5,000 on weekdays. It operates daily from 11am to 9pm, but extended to 11pm every Saturday. There are also baby strollers available for rent in the garden.

In Autumn, there is the festival of Chrysanthemums and Autumnal Tints.

韩国小法国 Korea Petite France

小法国是以小王子故事为主的主题乐园

设计概念是“花、星星、小王子”
由16栋法国式建筑组成
且游客可选择在此住宿一体验法国的文化

Petite France is a theme park using the French novel, Le Petit Prince as the background story. The concept is “flowers, stars, and the Little Prince” and consists of 16 French-style buildings where visitors can experience the culture of France here.

从南怡岛出发可以搭加平观光巴士

车程大约半个小时即可抵达
入门票价成人KRW8,000，儿童KRW5,000
开放时间为每日早上9点至晚上6点
夜间开放时间可在小法国网站确认

It takes about half an hour from Nami Island to Petite France through the Gapyeong shuttle bus. The entrance ticket cost KRW8, 000 for adult and KR5000 for children. It operates daily from 9am to 6pm, and the night operating hour can be found through the official website.

The French-style buildings here are colourful. The Saint-Exupery Memorial Hall, Orgel House, France Traditional House Exhibition Hall, Antique Exhibit Hall are all open for viewing.  On and off, there might be puppet play and performance at the Performance Hall.

这里同时也是《贝多芬病毒》、《秘密花园》、《来自星星的你》和《Running Man》的拍摄地点。

It is also the film locations for TV drama “Beethoven Virus”, “Secret Garden”, “My Love from the Star” and “Running Man”.

韩国南怡岛 Korea Nami Island Part 2

南怡岛是个半月形岛屿
得名自南怡将军
南怡将军平定叛乱有功，后受污蔑早逝
在他原该下葬的地方上有一个石头堆
据说如果有人带走了那里的石头
将带来不幸

Nami Island is a half-moon shaped island. Its name originated from General Nami, who led a victory against the rebels but died after being falsely accused of treason. Although his grave was not discovered, there was a pile of stones where his body was supposed to be buried, it was believed that if someone took even only one stone from there, it would bring misfortune to their house.

南怡岛上不见电线杆
因为所有的电线都埋在地下
以保持大自然的风光
这里只见无数的杉树、银杏树、松树和枫树等

There is no telephone poles found on the island, this is because all electric wires were built underground to keep the natural feeling of the landscape. However, there are plenty of chestnut trees, ginko tree, pine trees and maple trees throughout the island.

Due to the cold weather of Korea in Winter, every certain distance there are some fireplace for visitor to keep warm. During autumn and spring, they use dried leaves or charcoal to light the fireplace.

Two rows of the pine trees lined on the side of the path of Central Pine Tree Lane. The path is quiet and romantic while the balloon shape lights turn on at night.

In Autumn, Gingko Tree Land is covered by beautiful yellow gingko leaves, while the leaves of the maple trees in the Maple Tree of True Love Lane turns red at the same time.

The Metasequoia Lane became one of the most popular sites after being filmed for the television series Winter Sonata, while the metasequoia trees were also known as living fossils.

韩国南怡岛 Korea Nami Island

著名韩剧《冬季恋歌》播出后
其拍摄景点的之一的南怡岛顿时声名大振
大批游客到此旅游
至今仍维持每年150万人次的访客数量
并在2006年3月1日宣布转型为如同国家性态的特殊观光区
名为“南怡共和国”

Being the film location for the famous Korean drama “Winter Sonata”, Namiseom Island (Nami Island) become a main tourist attraction after the success of the drama. It has attracted 1.5 million visitors a year on average. On 1 March 2006, it declared its culture independence as the Naminara Republic and has its own diplomatic and cultural policies.

从首尔到加平站需时大约两个小时
因此建议尽早出发
从加平站出来右手边是一个询问处
而加平观光巴士则会停在询问处前的大马路

It takes about 2 hours from Seoul to Gapyeong station thus it is advisable to depart earlier. The information center is at the right hand side right after come out from the Gapyeong station, and the Gapyeong shuttle bus will depart right in front of the information center.

The shuttle bus for Gapyeong is very convenience for a day tour. Each adult ticket cost KRW6,000 and it is free for kids below 36 months old! A bus departs from Gapyeong station every one hour and passengers can take unlimited ride within one day. The ticket can be purchased from the driver at the first ride and it reach several tour sites such as Nami Island jetty, Petite France and The Garden of Morning Calm.

第一种可以购买入门票搭渡轮入岛
外国旅客可享有优惠票价KRW8,000
船运时间从早上7.30到晚上9.40
除了高峰期，即早上9点到下午6点每10到20分钟运行外
其它时间则每30分钟运行

There are two ways to enter Nami Island. One of it is to purchase the entrance ticket and enter the island via ferry. Foreigners get to enjoy discounted rate for the admission fee and only need to pay for KRW8,000. The ferry scheduled from 7.30am to 9.40pm and it is 10 to 20 minute intervals during peak hour between 9am to 6pm while the other timing will be 30 minute intervals.

从80米高的高塔上向下滑行进入南怡岛
设施使用费为KRW38,000
速度比乘搭渡轮快，只需1到2两分钟即可抵达南怡岛
但需根据气象条件良好方可进行

Another way to enter Nami Island is through zip wire. Riders start from a 80 meter high tower and zoom down along a wire cable into Nami Island and it only cost KRW38,000 for the facility utilization. It is faster than the ferry as the duration is only 1 to 2 minutes. However, the operating hours are subject to change depending on weather conditions.

砂朥越干盘面 Sarawak Kampua

砂劳越诗巫福州人众多
因此福州美食也繁多
其中干盘面更是诗巫福州人常吃的面食
随着福州人流传到了古晋
却也在古晋成了极为普遍的食物

Most of the Chinese population in Sarawak Sibu are Fuzhou people, thus there are also numbers of Fuzhou foods can be found here. Among all, Kampua noodle is one of the most common food for Fuzhou people in Sibu. It is then brought to Kuching and now it can be easily found along the street in Kuching.

尽管干盘面是砂朥越代表性的美食
但准备起来却并不复杂
将干面经沸水煮熟后
与猪油、葱拌匀
加上叉烧
放在盘中
就成了干盘面

Even though Kampua is one of the most iconic food in Sarawak, the preparation is not complicated at all. Kampua is dried noodle drained from boiling water and tossed in lard and shallot, topped with char siu and served in plate.

还有加入黑酱油搅拌的黑干盘面
或是加入辣椒酱搅拌的红色干盘面
各种吃法各有风味

Although Kampua is a simple dish but there are several ways to be served. The black Kampua is mixed with black soy sauce, and the red one is added with chilli sauce. Each way has its own specialty.

Kampua is getting well known nowadays and it can also be found outside of Sarawak.

新加坡小桂林 Singapore Little GuiLin

邻近新加坡武吉巴督自然公园的武吉巴督市镇公园
由于平静幽美，景色宜人
加上其花岗石的景色与中国的桂林市相似
因此在新加坡被誉为小桂林

Bukit Batok Town Park which is next to Singapore Bukit Batok Nature Park is peaceful and beautiful, as the scene is similar to Guilin, China with the granite rock formations, thus it is also known as Little Guilin or Xiao Guilin among the locals.

这里原是个废弃的花岗石矿场
经过改造，当初的矿坑自然形成一个矿湖
加上湖边的山丘峭壁
吸引了许多人前来野餐、跑步
不少新人也选择在这里拍摄婚纱照

The park was initially a granite quarry, it was then converted to a tranquil lake and the area was also beautified. There is a granite rock sitting within the lake. It is beautifully landscaped, and the park is popular for picnic, jogging, as well as photo shooting for wedding couples.

这里也有凉亭、石椅供休息
也可沿着湖边走走
一些小径在树木遮蔽下也是十分凉快舒服

If you find picnic there is exposed under the hot sun, there is also shelter with stone seat. You can also walk along the side of the lake, the path in the wood is quite cool and comfortable for a walk.

新加坡双溪布洛湿地 Singapore Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve

新加坡城市发展迅速
却仍保留了很多自然生态保护区
双溪布洛湿地保护区就是其中一处
而且免费对外开放
值得一提的是
这里也是从寒冷的北方，飞往温暖的南方的候鸟
中途停留的地方

Despite being a prosperous country, Singapore still remain a lot of natural reserve and the Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve is one of it. It is free of charge and what is special is that it is a stop-over point for migratory bird to escape the cold north in the winter month to the warmer southern parts of the earth.

它位于新加坡西北方，只和马来西亚柔佛隔一个海峡
站在桥上，柔佛就在眼前

It is in the northwest area of Singapore, and is able to view Johor Bahru, Malaysia on the bridge.

园区里还包括了一个展览室

There is also an exhibition room in the reserve to understand more about the animals and plants in the Wetland Reserve. Three are also activities held for public such as bird watching, weekend guided walks, migratory bird watching which are very educational.

The Wetland is the home for various kind of tropical animals and plants. An environment for mangrove require the conditions of anaerobic soils and tidal range. Red mangroves have buttress roots at the base of the tree and also stilt roots which prop above the water level to absorb air.

除了弹涂鱼外
也常见到许多的大蜥蜴
幸运的话，还可以遇上水濑或是鳄鱼

Mudskippers can be spotted in the swamp, as well as Malayan water monitor. Lucky visitors may also be able to spot the otters as well as crocodiles.

可以隐蔽地就近观察鸟类和动物

There is also observation hide which allow the visitors to view the birds and animals closely without disturbing the wildlife as it is being observed.

There are also numbers of pavilions which enable the visitors to view the natural reserve and mangrove from high. Climb up to the 4^th floor of the pavilion and have a peaceful moment with a stunning view.
