Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa located in Welllington, it is the national museum and art gallery of New Zealand. The name means "the place of treasures of this land" in Maori, and has become the landmark building situated in the heart of Wellington.

Te Papa museum is opened daily from 10am to 6pm, except Christmas Day. Wifi is available within the museum and guided tours area available with a fee. Mandarin tours are also available from Monday to Friday at 11.30am.

The six floors museum exhibit the collection includes dress and textiles, the historic and contemporary items from Pacific Islands, a significant collection of fossils and archaeozoology, and dried specimen of New Zealand birds, amphibians, reptiles and mammals. It also has the world's largest specimen of the rare colossal squid.
